Sweet little Joni...

So I went to tuck Joni in last night and she had her pen and clipboard in her bed. I told her she needed to be done writing and go to sleep. She said, "Remember how Jake (a boy in her class last year) wasn't nice? I thought of all the things I should say to him and I wrote it down. Because I only ever wanted to be his friend and he wasn't nice to me!" She is starting to cry by this time. Joni has such a tender little heart. I wouldn't say she is sensitive, she just feels things stronger than most. Anyways, I told her it was a great idea to write down her feelings...
