House Hunting Part 1

So, we are moving to Denver. After building this dream home and thinking we would be there forever, Tom got an amazing job offer and we feel really good about moving to Denver. So here we go!

Tom and I flew to Denver this week to look for houses. It was not my favorite thing...in fact, kind of the opposite. I feel like we were being pretty open minded too. After 2 days of looking, we found one we like and put an offer on it...unfortunately so did someone else. So I guess we will see. Meanwhile we are trying to sell this lovely home in Farmington. I wish I could just transport my house to Denver. I LOVE my house. And my kitchen. And my mudroom. And my pizza oven. And my fireplace. And my shower. And my closet. And my store room...sigh.

I feel blue.

(Stay tuned for a progress report on the move and our life in Denver. I am using this blog to document all of that as well as for a family journal. So I am back baby!)

  1. Hi Monica! Wow, what exciting news! I don't know if you know this or not, but we left Star Valley and moved "home" to Colorado last Thanksgiving. We love being back and I hope you guys love it here too. Where are you guys looking for a house? Dave works in downtown Denver, but we chose to live about 45 miles north in Johnstown, nearer to family. We love it here, but the commute is awful. It would be super fun to see you guys, maybe meet up for a temple session or something. And if you need any help on this end, let me know! Good luck!
